Cancellation Policy

We know that sometimes things don’t go to plan and you may need to change or cancel your appointment. To help us manage our schedule and continue supporting all of our clients, we have the following cancellation policy:

Private Clients – at least 48 hours’ notice is required for cancellations or rescheduling.
NDIS Clients – at least 48 hours’ notice is required, in line with NDIS guidelines.

If notice is not provided within these timeframes, the full session fee may be charged.

How to Cancel or Reschedule

If you need to make changes to your appointment, please let us know as soon as possible by:

Calling our clinic directly during business hours - 0438 006 445
Emailing us at [email protected]

Why We Have This Policy

Last-minute cancellations can make it difficult to offer that time to another client who may be waiting for an appointment. By giving us adequate notice, you’re helping us provide the best care and access to everyone.

Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.

Acknowledgement of Country

We respectfully acknowledge the Dja Dja Wurrung people, the Traditional Custodians of the land on which we meet, work, and learn in Bendigo. We pay our respects to their Elders past, present, and emerging, and extend that respect to all First Nations Peoples.

We recognise that Country is not just a place, but a living cultural and storytelling landscape—nurtured over millennia through spoken word, song, and story. As a speech pathology practice committed to supporting communication and storytelling for all, we are mindful and grateful to honour the oldest storytellers of this land, and to continue learning from their enduring connection to place, language, and expression.
